so dan teasdale made a dumb kickstarter about that john drake flight tracker app shown at the giantbomb pax panel
ryan mentioned it a few times as “a really dumb thing tangential to GB but unrelated that will be announced soon” on twitter and plugged it when it launched
no money is going to giantbomb through it or even john drake himself, just dan teasdale (and all the money it makes is just to cover licensing and distribution, the app itself will be free)
but people in the somethingawful giantbomb thread are flipping the fuck out about how it’s a conflict of interest and how it apparently destroys giantbomb’s fucking integrity that there’s a kickstarter for a joke thing existing
